		<title>Frontenacs’ Ethan Werek Named Boston Pizza OHL Player of the Week</title>

		<content:encoded><![CDATA[Toronto, ON &ndash; The Ontario Hockey League today announced that forward Ethan Werek of the Kingston Frontenacs is the Boston Pizza OHL Player of the Week for the week ending November 15.&nbsp; Werek led the league in points this week with seven including three goals with four assists in three games which all resulted in wins for the Frontenacs.&nbsp; His plus-minus rating of plus-5 was also tied for a league-high.Werek began his week with back-to-back three-point games and was awarded first star honours in both performances.&nbsp; He scored two goals including the insurance marker at 17:46 of the second period and added an assist in a 5-1 win over the Brampton Battalion on Thursday night.&nbsp; He then scored one goal with two assists setting up the third period game-winner 46 seconds into the frame in a 4-1 win over the Belleville Bulls on Friday night.&nbsp; He finished the week with a first period assist in a 4-3 win over the Sarnia Sting on Sunday.Click here to watch video highlights of Ethan Werek this week courtesy of TVCogeco and Rogers TV.Werek, an 18-year-old from Goodwood, ON, is playing in his second OHL season with the Frontenacs.&nbsp; In 20 games this season he has scored 13 goals and 11 assists for 24 points and will compete for Team OHL in the 2009 SUBWAY&reg; Super Series game this Thursday November 19 in Barrie.&nbsp; Werek was selected in the second round, 47th overall by the New York Rangers in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.Click here to watch a video feature courtesy of TVCogeco about Ethan Werek and Frontenacs' teammate Erik Gudbranson competing in the 2009 Subway Super Series.Zack Torquato of the Erie Otters was also considered for scoring six points in three games with a goal and five assists helping the Otters win two games.&nbsp; For the second straight week, Belleville Bulls&rsquo; forward Andy Bathgate was considered after scoring five points in three games including a four-point game Saturday as first star of a 5-2 win over the Niagara IceDogs.&nbsp; In goal, Chris Perugini of the Ottawa 67&rsquo;s won two games including a shutout victory Friday making 20 saves as third star in a 7-0 win over the Sarnia Sting.&nbsp; He allowed just one goal on 51 shots for a goals-against-average of 0.480 and save percentage of .982.&nbsp;2009-10 Boston Pizza OHL Players of the Week Nov.
